Chief Operating Officer & President - David Lindley is a co-founder of PPM. The company's land position is based on his vast field experience in Papua New Guinea, spanning 35 years. He is widely experienced in the search for porphyry copper-gold, epithermal gold and PGE mineralization in the humid tropical environment. His was a member of the exploration teams that discovered the Wafi and Wamun porphyry copper deposits (CRA Exploration, February 1978) and the Mt Nakru copper-gold porphyry (Esso Papua New Guinea, 1983), and single-handedly discovered the Mt Sinivit gold-copper-telluride deposit (Esso Papua New Guinea, July 1983) and advanced it to mining lease grant (February 1998). He has also been responsible for the discovery of numerous other mineral properties throughout Papua New Guinea that have subsequently been the subject of considerable exploration effort and expenditure. Prospects include the Sikut River prospect (East New Britain, 1985), Metewarei prospect (Manus Island, February 1993), Skairaisa prospect (Frieda River district, 1990), Townsville prospect (Ok Tedi district, 1989) and the Milne Bay Goldfield prospects (Milne Bay Province, 1990). David holds BSc (First Class Honours) and PhD degrees from the University of New South Wales. During 2011 he was elected a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. He has contributed more than 35 published scientific contributions on the geology and mineralization of Papua New Guinea.
VP Exploration - Bernard Kavanamur has spent over 20 years working as a geologist in Papua New Guinea. Mr. Kavanamur has a strong background in porphyry copper gold and epithermal gold deposits. He was part of the exploration team involved in the discovery of major copper and gold resource extensions at Wafi- Golpu. He has worked at some of the largest copper and gold deposits in the world including Wafi - Golpu, OK Tedi and Hidden Valley. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of PNG and a Master of Science degree from Kagoshima University in Japan.
